Beyond affinage qualities, OstraOS supports the official labels that shape the shellfish market — French, European or international. Each label is treated as a full quality, with its specifications, durations and conditions.
French and European labels
- Label Rouge: official recognition of a higher quality.
- PGI (Protected Geographical Indication): Marennes-Oléron, Saint-Brieuc, Bouchot and other regional appellations.
- PDO (Protected Designation of Origin): Mont-Saint-Michel for mussels, and other controlled appellations.
- Organic: rearing under European organic standards.
International qualities
Working internationally, importing spat or finished products? OstraOS handles a broad catalogue of non-European qualities: Galway Native (Ireland), Whitstable (United Kingdom), Miyagi (Japan), Wellfleet (United States), Malpeque (Canada), Sydney Rock (Australia), among others.
