Every lot's traceability starts with a clean reception entry. OstraOS distinguishes two inbound flows: spat from a hatchery or natural capture, and a generic intake for everything else (restocking, internal transfer, purchase from a peer).
Spat or generic reception
- Spat reception: for spat bought at a hatchery or naturally captured, with an automatic delivery slip.
- Generic intake: for any other stock inbound — useful for adjustments or peer-to-peer transfers without a formal slip.
In both cases, you fill in the species, quantity, estimated weight, supplier and destination zone. A new lot with a unique code instantly appears on the farm map, ready for its next events.
Tip
Capture the health certificate number on intake: it carries through to the upstream traceability of the finished product.
