Creating an order immediately reserves the matching stock.

When an order is created, OstraOS automatically picks the matching sellable-stock units and reserves them for that order. No more risk of promising the same bourriche to two different customers: availability is updated in real time.
Automatic stock reservation
The system prioritises units whose use-by date is closest, to preserve freshness. If you later change the quantity or items, OstraOS releases the previously reserved stock and reallocates per the new order, with no manual step.
Short stock: three options
- Reduce the ordered quantity to fit the available stock.
- Split the order into two deliveries on different dates.
- Force the order as an oversell and reconcile after the supplier intake.
