Not every order needs the same logistical rigour. A retail sale often ships without a pallet, while a supermarket client requires standardised packing. OstraOS knows both worlds: palletisation is toggled per order to match the contract.
A simple choice at creation
When creating the order, a "Needs pallets" option routes it through the preparation and palletisation phase. Without it, the order can move straight to shipping after confirmation.
Tip
You can set the default behaviour on the customer record: systematic palletisation for retail chains, on-demand palletisation for restaurateurs.
