Traceability is not a side module in OstraOS — it is the platform's backbone. Every stock movement, every production step, every sale feeds an automatic, continuous, shareable, verifiable story. Nothing to re-key, nothing to reconstruct after an incident.
Upstream: from product to field
From a bourriche, a crate or a QR code scanned by a consumer, you walk back the entire chain in a second: source lot, production zone, spat supplier, recorded checks, key dates. Invaluable for audits, customer claims or press enquiries.
Downstream: from zone to recipients
Conversely, starting from a growing zone and identifying in a few clicks every shipped product issued from it, and the customers who received them. Crucial during a health alert or a targeted recall.

Upstream and downstream are not two modules: they are the same database viewed from two angles. No re-keying, no divergence risk.
