Monitoring and checks
Water quality, health checks, meat yield tests — all recorded.
Monitoring a herd is not only about rearing. Three families of checks essential to the trade are natively modelled in OstraOS — each with its own fields and its own role in the lot's traceability.
Water quality
Temperature, salinity, and depending on your setup pH or dissolved oxygen: each reading can be entered by hand or fed automatically by a compatible probe. An alert fires beyond the thresholds you configure.
Health check
Whether an official inspection by the relevant authority or an internal self-check, the event records the inspector, the date and the outcome — compliant, non-compliant or under watch. A non-compliant outcome may trigger a tracked quarantine.
Meat-yield test
The meat-yield index is an objective quality criterion, especially useful when defending a Fine or Spéciale qualification. OstraOS records the method, the sample size and the measured ratio.
