Zone occupancy is one of the most telling indicators when steering a shellfish farm. Too much density weakens growth; not enough under-uses your leases. OstraOS automatically computes the occupancy rate and shows it on the dashboard.
One indicator, several readings
- Global: percentage of zones holding at least one active lot.
- By species: see where the oysters are, where the mussels are, where the clams are.
- By stage: rearing, affinage, purification — who occupies what.
A visual progress bar accompanies the percentage on the dashboard. Combined with the biomass and active-lots indicators, it gives you an instant read of your farm's operational health.
