ORDERS, RECADV and INVRPT messages
EDI capabilities declared by each carrier, ready to be enabled.
Beyond the shipping notice, the EDIFACT standard offers a whole family of logistics messages. OstraOS recognises three complementary capabilities your carrier may declare — you instantly know which automated exchanges are within reach.
Three complementary messages
- ORDERS: standardised purchase order, declared as a carrier capability.
- RECADV: standardised delivery proof, officially confirming reception of the goods.
- INVRPT: standardised stock report, useful for sharing inventory state with a logistics partner.
On each carrier record, you tick the actually-supported capabilities. OstraOS then knows which messages can be exchanged with whom. As of today, only the shipping notice (DESADV) ships with an operational generator built into the platform: ORDERS, RECADV and INVRPT are declarative capabilities that describe what your partners accept.
