Every team member doesn't do the same job. Sales don't need water quality; the biologist doesn't need to capture orders; the accountant doesn't allocate lots. OstraOS ships with seven ready-to-use profiles that distribute the right features to the right people.
Seven profiles, seven scopes
- Administrator: full access to configuration, users and every section.
- Manager: operational steering, palletisation, lot reconciliation, validation of sensitive actions.
- Operator: field-side capture of production events.
- Salesperson: orders, quotes, customer records, prospecting.
- Biologist: water quality, health checks, analyses, monitoring of lots in affinage.
- Accountant: invoices, payments, collections, receivables.
- Logistician: preparation, palletisation, shipments, transport EDI.
The profile is a starting point. The administrator can fine-tune access rights case by case — for instance, letting an operator see revenue or removing losses from a salesperson's view. The structure is a frame, not a cage.
Remember
Sensitive actions — lot reconciliation, payment validation, invoice generation — are recorded by name. During an audit or arbitration, you know exactly who did what.
